This new Pro version of Wondershare Video Converter has added to its well-known wide range of features and functions the possibility of transferring your downloaded and converted videos to your favorite device directly via a wireless network. The already existing video conversion and editing features will still allow you to re-encode your video files between all the most popular formats in fast and reliable batch-conversion processes.
All the most widely used video file formats are supported, including FLV, MPEG, MOV, AVI, WMV, 3GP, and many others. AVCHD files and videos in other High Definition codecs can also be converted into more portable video files with ease. Audio formats – for audio extraction – are also very well represented, and they include both lossy (MP3, AC3, Ogg, etc.) and lossless codecs (FLAC, APE, WAV, etc.). Output formats can be easily selected from an attractive profiles menu, where you will find both codec-based and device-based categories, with extensive support for Apple, Samsung, Nokia, or Motorola devices (among others). All of these preset profiles allow for some level of customization, both for the video and the audio streams.
The program comes with a wide array of editing features for you to customize your converted files. You can trim your video files to get rid of unwanted scenes or TV commercials, watermark your home videos and add subtitles to them, rotate and crop them, and add any of the many creative effects provided.
As a bonus, Wondershare Video Converter Pro includes a convenient video downloader, which will let you both download videos directly from YouTube and add as many URLs as required to the program’s manager for batch-download.
Only one small caveat with this otherwise excellent tool – all the video files in the list will be converted according to the last selected output profile. Regrettably, no mixed outputs are supported.
